The Lance Armstrong Foundation is founded, and within a few years, we define our focus on survivorship. 

2004

The iconic wristband makes its debut and captures the world’s attention.

2007

2007

Livestrong at the YMCA launches nationwide, and candidates from both parties are invited to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to participate in an impactful Presidential Cancer Forum.

2009

The Livestrong Global Cancer Summit brings together 500 delegates from more than 65 countries to reduce the burden of cancer.

2012

Livestrong launches an anti-stigma campaign across 10 countries to change the conversation around cancer.

2014

We invest $50 million into The University of Texas at Austin’s Dell Medical School for the Livestrong Cancer Institutes to revolutionize how cancer patients are cared for.

2018

The Livestrong Cancer Institutes’ CaLM (Cancer Life ReiMagined) Clinic officially opens, and we launch the Help Starts Here self-guided navigation tool for survivors and caretakers. 

2020

The Livestrong Solution Grants program launches to fund innovative solutions that address overlooked issues in the cancer space. We also launched the Icon Series—online talks meant to educate, inspire, and motivate our community during a global pandemic.
